Importango already had a strong following from playing a weekly tango night in a popular Brooklyn restaurant. I captured the personalities of the band and some flavor of their live show. This acclaimed video helped catapult Importango past their $10,000 goal.

Mike Brenner wanted to visit India and study a little-known instrument with an Indian master and, while there, record an album of original compositions with Indian musicians. We created a haunting video for his pitch and helped him leverage the backing of more than 100 people to raise $1,300 more than his goal.
